There will be some bruising and swelling after the procedure during the recovery period. Most people can probably go back to work after 3 days, with a little makeup to cover the bruise. There is no need for any stitch removal.

Not everyone is a candidate for this procedure. Those who are older and have very lax skin around the eyes will not have a good cosmetic result after removal of eyebags using this technique.
